It is rare to find a male that is passionate about crafts and paper flowers. Abdelnasser Ibrahim is a communications engineer working in the petroleum industry where art and beauty does not exist. In early 2020, we all found ourselves dramatically affected by the COVID-19 lock down. Abdelnasser found himself at home for an extended period. At that time, he discovered his ability of making paper flowers. Starting with replicas of other artists flowers, Abdelnasser eventually started producing his own creations inspired by nature.

Abdelnasser is based in Cairo, Egypt, he was practicing his art wherever he travelled for offshore work inside Egypt and abroad locations like Sardinia, Cyprus and Dubai, recently he relocated to Aberdeen, Scotland looking for slow and peaceful lifestyle and more opportunities of creativity.

 In the last few years abdelnasser was eager to develop his artistry skills and explicit his own vision and techniques of paper art. In 2023 he introduced two online courses for paper Tangerines and bird of paradise flower. On the other hand, his artwork has been featured in many international sites like museum of words (Ankara, Tukey - 2022), Homo Faber – The Journey of life exhibition (Venice, Italy - 2024) and Cheongju Craft Biennale (Rep. Of Korea - 2025).
