Double-sided Crepe Paper DIY Tutorial (Doublette)
In this video, we demonstrate how to make double sided crepe paper (Doublette) using a simple lamination process with two colors of 60 gram crepe paper. Wan chose to demonstrate this by making beautiful Cherry Blossoms.
With this process you can create hundreds of different double sided crepes by combining the various colors of the 60 gram paper paper. The laminated paper retains the stretchability needed to make flowers and leaves and, when held up to light, shows the translucency of different colors.
Happy flower making! Wan
I bought this glue after watching your tutorial. I am having absolutely no success with this glue. It doesn’t stick, after it dries and the paper comes apart it is flaky. Do you have any suggestions, please?
Hello, I truly enjoyed your instructional video on making Cherry Blossoms. This was my first introduction into working with crepe paper. This is a whole new world for me. I love flowers and all nature but especially the preblooms, blooms and even the spent flowers. I used to make dolls out of Hollyhock flowers with my Mom when I was little. I still make them. I love to see the real flowers made into these dolls but they don’t last very long. I’m wondering if perhaps crepe paper would lend itself to this craft. Thank you for sharing your art. How long have you been creating these flowers?
Thank You so very much.

Love these! They are so beautiful.
My one question is why don’t you list al papers and all supplies, colors etc like a shopping list?
